Rights & Usage

✦ I only do work for personal use clients. I will not do any commissions for commercial use (merch, brands, ads, etc).✦ Do not resell my art, claim it as your work, use it to train AI, or trace my art. This is theft.✦ Credit must always be given to me. You can use your commission as a profile picture or a banner without giving me credit anywhere, but you may not post the commission on social media without crediting me in the description or comments. You can credit me by linking to my carrd.✦ I, as the artist, have every right to refuse to fufill your commission. I have every right to post your commission on my social media's/portfolio if I choose to.✦ You may not remove any watermarks I put on your commission

Refunds & Payment

✦ You are eligible for a full refund if I do not send you the sketch✦ If I start the sketch and I send you pictures of me working on it, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Partial refunds are not guaranteed. It depends on how far along I am with your commission and how much time I put into it.✦ If I accept your commission you must pay the full amount upfront. I only accept payment through kofi (we would talk about this more on discord). I will not start working until I am paid in full.✦ I will not start your commission without detail of what I'll be drawing. Communication must be made before I start your commission.✦ If there is a deadline, let me know about it 3 weeks in advance. I will not accept deadlines unless you tell me 3 weeks before.✦ If you want more than one person/oc you have to pay extra. If you want two characters that are half bodies, you must pay for two half bodies.

Communication

✦ Contact me on discord (aspen_scar) before you commission me. Tell me what you want and give me examples of what you're thinking about. Do not give me money before telling me what you want.✦ Tell me what you want this commission to be used for (banner, profile picture, etc)✦ Give me a clear reference of the character. As many references as possible!✦ Give me the details on what pose you want, the expression, and feel free to give me as many suggestions as you please!✦ Feel free to let me know what art of mine invokes the energy you want your piece to have.✦ Don't be afraid to ask me questions or give me suggestions! You are giving me money to draw for you, you are paying me. That means you can make as many requests/ask as many questions as you want. The more communication the better!Commissioning me means you have read the terms of service and you agree to follow these terms.


Below is a message template you can use if you commission me. The doodle is to help you understand that a visual of what you want me to draw, is far better than a description of what you want. A doodle is helpful even if you don't know how to draw. It's helpful to see what you're wanting!
